Penny Bennett

Penny has nearly 20 years experience working in the women's mental health field, focused mainly in the charity sector. Her approach to practice includes integrative counselling that addresses the individual needs and concerns of each client. Penny is known for her ability to listen to, and support, the needs of each individual client. The last few years have been challenging for many, even distressing for some. Penny believes that now, more than ever, people need to find the space to reflect on difficult or painful areas in life and how these could change. Her approach, care and counsel helps clients to make the changes needed to heal and move forward in their lives. As a feminist, having worked in the women’s sector for many years Penny has a good understanding of issues faced by women.

In addition to her counselling experience, Penny is an expert in general health and well-being. She assists clients to look at their environments to reveal where improvements might be made and works with them to develop a path to achieve their goals.

Penny is registered with ACCPH and follows BACP policies and guidelines.
